Michael Goldberg

Michael Goldberg is a Managing Director with BMO Family Office, an integrated wealth management provider that serves ultra-affluent individuals, families and family offices across their tax, estate, investment, philanthropic, risk and family capital needs.

Michael serves as the team lead for the Financial Sponsors practice within BMO Family Office and BMO Wealth Management.  He works exclusively with investment industry professionals to create bespoke solutions around liquidity, cash management and wealth transfer.  Michael joined the organization in 2020 and has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry.

Prior to BMO, Michael was a Managing Director at Busey Wealth Management, where his practice centered around business owners and multi-generational families.  He began his career as an Analyst at JP Morgan Chase, where he spent 13 years.

Michael earned a BA from the University of Texas in Austin and earned an MBA from Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain. Michael has the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and speaks both Spanish and Japanese.
