Stephen White

Steve oversees a team of skilled professionals dedicated to providing high net worth individuals, families, privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations with a full range of financial services as part of an overall personal wealth management strategy.  He has over 25 years of experience serving as a trusted advisor providing common sense solutions to help clients implement and achieve their business succession, charitable, family giving, retirement and wealth management goals.

Steve has also served as a leader of  BMO’s Business Owner Strategies and Solutions (BOSS) team, a specialized group of professionals that provides sophisticated wealth transfer, estate and succession planning guidance to business owners and corporate executives.

Prior to joining BMO, Steve served as an Executive Director and Wealth Advisor for a global asset management firm and previously was a partner specializing in estate and business planning with a large national law firm based in Milwaukee with multiple offices in the Midwest, Arizona and Florida.  He is the co-author of two books on estate planning and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™  designation.

Steve received his undergraduate and law degrees with honors from the University of Wisconsin. He was a coxswain on the national champion UW rowing team and is a member of the National “W” club for Wisconsin Lettermen.

Outside the office, Steve takes joy in devoting time to children’s ministries and is a founding Director of the men’s ministry group, 222 Corps Ministries.  He is an avid fitness enthusiast, struggling golfer and diehard  Badger fan.  Steve and his wife, Jodi, have two daughters who like their Dad are UW graduates.
