Garrett Johnson is a Managing Director and and Head of Ultra High Net Worth and Alternatives Banking at BMO Wealth Management

Garrett leads the Banking team at BMO Family Office, an integrated wealth management provider that serves individuals, families and family offices across their tax, estate, investment, philanthropic, risk and capital needs. Garrett also oversees BMO Wealth Management’s Private Equity Credit team.  The PE Credit team focuses on providing liquidity solutions to General Partners for both investment & personal purposes. Garrett founded the PE Credit team in 2021 after spending six years in BMO Wealth Management building a niche business focused on the financial sponsor community.  Prior to BMO Wealth Management, Garrett spent nearly eight years in BMO’s Sponsor Fund Lending team where he provided fund level credit facilities to leading middle market focused financial sponsors.

Garrett joined the organization in 2007 and earned his BA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Morehouse College of Atlanta, Georgia.
