BMO Family Office
Welcome
There are no templates when it comes to trust and estate planning. Every family is different. Every situation is unique. Here’s how we help ensure your plan suits you, your loved ones and your beneficiaries.
We bring an objective eye to your trust and estate plans, ensuring they deliver what they’re meant to—for your family and beneficiaries.
Families evolve. Children grow older. Circumstances change. We continually assess your situation and adapt the details of your plan as needed.
Stability isn’t something you promise. It’s something you prove. We’ve done that as a longstanding fiduciary and will keep doing it into the future.
A thorough and thoughtful wealth transition plan starts with going beyond the typical questions to truly understand you, your family and your wishes. From there, we offer you the services that can help you best protect your legacy.
Setting up a trust does take some extra planning, and a lawyer is required to draft the documents. The more complex the situation, the more care you’ll need to execute it correctly and discerningly.
That’s up to you: it depends on the nature of the trust and your intentions. Trusts can be designed to provide full control to the trustee, or key decisions can be controlled by you or whomever you choose.
Our pricing is based on the level of complexity involved in the administration of your trust. Variables include type of assets, level of oversight and tax implications, among others.
